Destination Wedding Spotlight: Joe and Jeannine at Playacar Palace, Mexico

Hey Hey Hey!

Today we are throwing back and I could not be more excited to feature this beautiful couple on their third wedding anniversary! Wow, I guess time does fly when you are having fun because I feel like it was just last year that I worked with this FUN group for this destination wedding at the beautiful, intimate and luxurious All-Inclusive Resort Playacar Palace, in Playa del Carmen in my beloved Mexico.

In case you are new to our wedding features, this is how it works: I ask the questions, and they provide the photos and memories so let’s dive in!

Will: Why did you choose a destination wedding?

The Kansco’s: Both of us second marriage so we wanted a one-stop planning

Will: How many attendees did you have? What kind of experience did you envision your guests having?

The Kansco’s: 24  guests. Relaxing fun with all the planning done for them ahead of time.

Will: What was one part of planning your wedding that you knew you couldn’t have done alone? How did having a Destination Wedding Specialist help with that?
The Kansco’s: The coordination of the wedding from a blind eye destination.
Will: What piece of advice would you give to couples who are just starting the planning process?
The Kansco’s: Get a wedding coordinator! Will, made our planning so stress-free!!

Will: What’s one “extra” you’re super glad you splurged on?  What surprised you the most about your wedding?

The Kansco’s: Upgraded room or suite! So beautiful and spacious
Will: If you could choose three words to describe your wedding, what would they be?
The Kansco’s:
  • Seamless
  • Personalized
  • Exclusive
Will: What is your favorite memory from your big day?
The Kansco’s:
  • Groom’s memory: the bride walking in
  • Bride’s memory: couple’s photoshoot

There you have it, friends. This was a great trip memory lane as I relived the experience of planning with Jeannine and Joe. I love my job so much because not only do I get to be a part of such an incredible journey but in this case, I worked with Joe so closely for those 5 months of planning that I feel as I’ve known him my whole life and someone I can be friends for life (insider secret: I’ve been planning several trips for them and their family since the wedding and we have yet to meet in person- which reminds me we need to change that and meet up in Mexico soon!). Grateful for the trust and continued support.

Happy Third Anniversary Jeannine and Joe and may the rest of your life be full of sandy toes and lots of sunshine!

Until next time friends,
